HOW WE DO IT
We deliver better, faster, smarter solutions through Wiki-LabsTM.
These are on-line environments where people can come together to capture and share insights, generate ideas and develop action plans.
Our Wiki-LabsTM are fully facilitated and accessible at all times to anyone with an internet connection anywhere in the world.
Our Insight LabsTM, Ideas LabsTM and Action LabsTM have been designed to overcome the traditional barriers to innovation and collaborative working presented by time and distance.
It’s about people and a process – supported by a proven and reliable technology and delivered with complete end-to-end service and attention to detail.
Total service
We work with you to set objectives for every Wiki-LabTM and agree specific criteria for success.
Once we understand your requirements, we design the collaboration space to meet them and set up the structure and opening content of your Wiki-LabTM, complete with background material and a Media Room with relevant and inspiring images and videos.
We’ll appoint a facilitator to moderate the dialogue from beginning to end and, when appropriate, we’ll recruit Wiki-TalentTM - external contributors to add their skills and experience to the subject of the dialogue.
Our community management begins with recruitment and on-line training and follows through with continuous dynamic facilitation to keep the community active and engaged, guide the discussion and help it towards priorities and conclusions.
Our real-time analytics system enables us to keep close watch on levels of interaction, to promote engagement and provide a full report on the outcomes at the end of the debate.

And it works. In a recent survey among Ideas LabTM participants in a professional services firm, 56% said that they felt more positive about their firm as a result of being given an opportunity to participate.
Wiki-LabsTM make it easy and enjoyable for employees and volunteers to relate to the bigger picture and contribute actively to moving the business forward. They are given a voice in the business and are invited to share their views, insights, ideas and feedback on topics that really matter to the business.
There’s virtually no limit to the number of people who can take part. We help you with the recruitment, planning and familiarisation. We moderate and stimulate the debate and use a range of on and offline techniques to encourage participation.
We know when to let the discussion run and when to add new impetus. We know how to keep the debate focused and when to draw out conclusions. It’s not just engagement. It’s collective intelligence applied to solving big issues.
‘People want meaningful opportunities to participate and contribute, to add their piece of information, view or opinion. They want viable ways to share, to think and work laterally with their peers. They are searching for collaborative ways to get things done.’
“We Think”, Charles Leadbeater, 2008
“The Ideas Lab, run by Wiki-Solutions, is one of the most positive things we have ever done with our people. It created a buzz throughout the organisation and led to hundreds of comments and observations that will shape the future of the business. Not only that but a majority of people felt more positive about the firm after the activity and many said they were going to change the way they contribute. The Ideas Lab is a superb business tool and will become a new way of engaging our people and promoting collaborative working.”
