DIALOGUE

Wiki-LabsTM  enable constructive and productive dialogue between colleagues, suppliers, customers that’s accessible at any time and anywhere there’s a connection to the internet.

“Dialogue is shared exploration towards great understanding, connection or possibility”1.

Wiki-LabsTM make that shared exploration possible.

Dialogue between colleagues is essential for teambuilding, organisation development, problem solving and idea generation. By its nature, dialogue is interactive and collaborative.

The problem is that, all too often, it’s just too difficult to engage everyone you would want in the dialogue because they work in different locations, have different schedules and a full diary of commitments.

Wiki-LabsTM solve that problem. Because they use a creative online space they are open for business 24/7 and those best able to contribute can do so without the need for complicated scheduling or ever-increasing travel costs.

We ensure that dialogues in our Insight, Ideas and Action Labs are purposeful and constructive through professional facilitation and by bringing in outside experts, creative thinkers and innovators that we call Wiki-TalentsTM

We inform and inspire the dialogue by equipping every Wiki-LabTM with photography, video and background information which is constantly refreshed and update through the life of the debate.

Dialogue vs. discussion

“A key difference between dialogue and an ordinary discussion is that, within the latter people usually hold relatively fixed positions and argue in favour of their views as they try to convince others to change. At best this may produce argument or compromise, but it does not give rise to anything creative”

“Science, Order and Creativity”, David Bohm and David Peat

How we stimulate dialogue

We pre-populate every Wiki-LabTM with relevant background and stimulus material from research summaries to illustrations, photography and videos to generate instant interest.

As with a physical workshop or brainstorm we fully facilitate our Wiki-LabsTM to monitor and guide progress to achieve the desired outcomes.

There are also content specific automatic prompts that keep people informed of how the dialogue is progressing even when they are not online.

We have a suite of analytics running in the background to every Wiki-LabTM which keep us informed about where and when people are taking part. We use this information to send personalised messages to encourage participation and ensure that everyone has plenty of opportunity to contribute.
