According to a Cranfield School of Management report for Investors in People, ‘cascading the vision and direction of the organisation is one of the strongest levers you can pull to generate improved performance’.
Business performance is enhanced by employee engagement and a climate of cooperation and collaboration. It’s not surprising that these are key requirements of both IIP & Lexcel accreditation. Yet despite evidence that the more an organisation embraces the standards the better the impact on financial performance, often only the minimum required for accreditation is achieved. Why?
One key factor is that, until recently, achieving really effective levels of staff engagement and a climate of collaboration has been time consuming, expensive and seen as a distraction from the core business of making money.
Now the game has changed. New technologies and processes make it easier to move beyond the basic accreditation requirements and reap the rewards of improved financial performance.
For the last two years Wiki-Solutions has been developing both the technology and process necessary to help firms improve their return on investment from their biggest asset – their people. As well as channelling people’s effort to achieving the goals of the business it also provides a really fast and effective way to generate fresh ideas to tackle the issues that really matter. If you are working towards accreditation, have it already or just thinking about it, we would love to share our thinking with you. If you would like to see a practical demonstration of how it could work for you or just a chat please let us know.
